Financial Contributions

Any donation over $250 qualifies you for a tax write off! We will promptly send you a letter of receipt for your records. In developing countries, your U.S. dollar goes a long way! Here are just a few examples of how DDSP could use your support:

One-time Donations

Your one-time donation can provide a classroom for students with disabilities such as:

• $15 provides a student with learning materials for the school year
• A classroom medical kit for a classroom is provided for $20
• $25 provides classroom supplies such as notebooks, pencils, and other supplies
• Your gift of $50 gives a student a refurbished bicycle to get to school in areas where transportation cannot be provided
• A generous donation of $100 provides snacks for two classrooms for a month. $130 buys a school a ramp for students to gain respectful access to their classroom
• A substantial gift of $1400 buys the school a physically accessible bathroom with two stalls.

Monthly Donations

With a monthly donation, school administrators can put their focus on educating their classroom rather than worrying about the not have the resources they need to engage the students. For an ongoing monthly donation, you can provide:

• $10 pays for maintenance and gasoline for the tuktuk to transport students to school
• Utilities such as water and electricity can be supported for two classrooms at $30 a month
• $50 a month provides six classrooms with snacks and food
• A gracious gift of $100 per month supports the ongoing rehabilitation and physiotherapies for students with physical disabilities
